Open Sesame

Everyone is talking about this business folding and that business going bankrupt, but do you realize that there are organizations that thrive during times like these – going on to become bigger and better? It takes a certain amount of guts of course to make this happen – and it will, once you realize that in every bad situation opportunities will arise.

It is also during bad times that the wise will see that necessity is the mother of invention because they know that one shouldn’t just wait for things to happen – right now, as it always should be, we have to be consciously aware of what’s needed – it’s all about anticipating the needs of the market.

By focusing on specific needs, we can provide a service that is of use. Stop thinking about dying, and focus on living and living really well. It can be done. It’s all about whether you want to or not.

You see, the thing is this – people might not know that they need a particular product or service until it is made available. YOU have to make them realize this. The opportunities are limitless and as long as you’re living in a country with people in it, focus on the community, identify a target audience and serve them really well.

As you go on this journey, be fully aware that doors will slam shut in your face. But as the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens and you must not hesitate in entering it. You may not get another opened door if you miss this one.

Believing that you can do it is the most powerful things that can happen to you. Knowing that each challenges that comes to you can be turn into an opportunity and even a gold mine for you to learn something new is THE BEST gift you can ever give yourself. Once a door open just infront of you, don't walk away as something in it does not interest you..just get in grab the opportunity and never let go, what you will find in there could be the one you've been waiting for.

Ernie,

Thank you so much for your advice. You're one of my role models. For you to be successful in business in such a short period is really amazing. For those who've not tried starting their own business don't know how hard it is. I know it's hard (I failed many times). I 'tabik' you lah Ernie! You're D' Man!

Opening doors is one thing - then you have individuals who will open the door even if what they see is inviting, they'll still think 100 times before taking the plunge because they don't have a clue about what they want.
