I have been working in many different industries namely education, entertainment and media communications for more than 20 years. In all my years of working and performing, I have always focused on delivering the desired results that make my customers happy. This is so critical to the successes that I have come to enjoy as my brand and my businesses' brands keep growing with the same positive comments by colleagues, friends, students, business partners and most importantly paying customers. If we expect others to respect us, we first need to respect ourselves and our professions.

“If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.” ~ Bruce Lee
Now days, what I see in the younger generation (and some of the older onces)they do what they do just for the sake of doing it. They do not care about the outcome or quality of it.
When you are in the Service Industry especially, it is the utmost importance to present the best ethics in your work performance..
I believe gaining the respect of others comes from respecting them in turn, but we must also not neglect the need to make ourselves respectable to others.
Everyone of us are exceptional in something someway. All we need to do is find out our talent, work hard on it and produce an outstanding result on it to proof the world that we are special on our own way.
well said and agreed. we first need to respect ourselves and our professions.

If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.

Quality of work is determined by the recipient of your masterpiece, which reflects your work ethics. It is impossible to achieve excellence if your your heart, mind and hands are not in sync.
Respect is earned, not self declared.
