How many of us really do understand the above words? If you do not then you have a very big problem.
You see, it will take you 3 years to build trust and establish credibility and 3 seconds for you to destroy it all. When you are entrusted with a responsibility and a task, you are required to deliver on it. Once you promised and committed to it, you must get it done. I get very annoyed working with team members that do not deliver on their promise. I do not like working with people that do not deliver desired results. I do not like to work with people that are indecisive. I do not like to work with people that are slow in response. I do not like to work with people that are provided with an opportunity and does nothing with it. I do not like to work with people that make empty promises. I am a very results driven man that believes in integrity. If you do not have this fundamental and cannot work with this understanding, then I cannot work with you. Please do remember that you are working with a boss and yes I am your boss. I pay you a salary and I do not owe you a living. When you are paid a salary, you are expected to deliver results and perform. I do not run a non profit organisation or a charitable or religious organisation. I run a focused, profit driven organisation that makes a difference. If your values and ideals are not aligned with mine, I advice you to not work with me as you will get very miserable. Honeymoon is over as we prepare for a very tough 2016. We are ready. However we need to be extremely careful and cautious. We have to deliver and do what it takes to not just survive but excel. And we will excel in 2016. There is one direction and single minded focus to grow our education group to educate and produce business leaders that makes a difference.
I strongly advice you to go beyond your normal call of duty. That means if you think you work hard, work harder. If you work smart, work smarter. Make sure you are doing the right thing and do things correctly. 2016 is not a year of making mistakes that causes us to waste and lose money. We need to reduce cost in everything that we do and and focus on achieving profits. No excuses, no blame and no complains. Get it done. Solve all problems. That’s what you are hired to do.
I drive results and expect performance. If you do not do what is expected of you, then you will not have a very good career with me and it will not last very long. I want to be clear and communicate how we will work together. If you can do this, we will do well together and you will have a great career with us. If you do not, then I wish you all the best.
