Making the 1st Million is tough. Making Millions after that is easy. Making the 1st Billion is extremely tough but making the Multi-Billions after that is extremely easy. Life is as such. If we are willing to work hard, smart and fast with the right people, right place and right opportunity, everything will just fall into place. You want to play much bigger, you have to learn to let go and know the objective is to keep getting bigger together. The cake taste a whole lot better when you have multi layered and flavours of your choice because you have unlimited ingredients to bake whatever the cake that you want to eat. Yes you decide. All the best. We are grateful π

Of course! In actuality, success is a path of constant opportunity and improvement. Let's embrace the obstacles and savor the delicious taste of success as we go.
Absolutely! This post makes a lot of sense. it's like getting started can be tough, but once you're rolling, it's smoother sailing and also by surrounding yourself with the right people and being ready to jump on opportunities is the key. So, through this way, we can build a future with a better and perfect outcome.
Thank you for your encouragement. I realize that the hardest action to take in achieving anything is making a true commitment. Faith, discipline, sacrifice, dedication, and efforts—all these unlock the doors of imagination and allow you to turn your dream into reality!

Absolutely, Mr. Ernie! Your comparison of life to a cake, with its different layers and flavours representing the many possibilities, perfectly captures the idea that success comes from seizing the right opportunities with the right people. And just like how different ingredients make a cake delicious, I can't help but see how teamwork is similar to baking a cake too. Just as different ingredients contribute to the deliciousness of a cake, each team member brings something unique to the table, which is vital for the success of any project. Each person plays a significant role, much like every ingredient in a cake recipe. When everyone feels valued, they're more likely to give their best. Again, your words really inspire me to stay positive in life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and let's keep striving for success together!
Interesting analogy on the cake Sir. Reminds me of the quote by Helen Keller, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." Looking forward to a great semester with the PORTMAN team.

Yes, making the first million is going to be very difficult because we need to find the right path to achieve it, and we're not familiar with that path. But once we've done it, the only thing we need to do is duplicate our success and systemize it. A person may go fast, but a team can go far. Spending time with the right people in the right place will undoubtedly add much more value, and the returns are infinite! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
After reading that paragraph, I learned that when you try to obtain something, you will encounter significant challenges initially, but as you gain experience and resources, everything becomes easier. I also realized the importance of hard work, intelligence and seizing opportunities because these will make it easier and faster for you to achieve your goals. Thank you Mr. Ernie for the sharing.
Totally agree Sir. Its always the first step is the hardest. But once you have the willpower to keep on going and reach your first, the next steps to success follows you through. With a great environment, comes the great things. Thank you for the amazing sharing!
Many may express a desire to earn millions of dollars, yet not all will persevere through the numerous problems, challenges, and obstacles that accompany the pursuit of their first million-dollar goal. Everything involves a form of exchange—whether it’s health, wealth, wisdom, relationships, career, money, or anything else. It’s essential to understand what you truly want and be clear about what you’re willing to sacrifice and bring to the table. Those who endure and persist until the end enjoy the journey alongside those who endure until the end.

Delayed prolonged gratification. Always work hard first without expecting immediate returns. Our opportunity for growth will come, and we have to be ready to take it. We just need to put our head down and work smarter, faster and quicker.
Indeed, you are absolutely correct. Life presents challenges that are not always easy to overcome. However, with diligent effort, strategic thinking, and swift action, we can attain the rewards we rightfully deserve at the opportune moment. Thanks Mr Ernie for consistently reminding us of this invaluable lesson.

Good insights sir.
I heard this a long time ago from a few wealthy individuals: "Making the first million is tough, but once you've made it, you can easily make multimillions."
At that time, I thought it was just a Lan Si (boasty) statement from the mouths of wealthy people. However, I came to realize its truth when I achieved success in various aspects of my life.
For instance, I went from not knowing how to speak English to confidently speaking on stage. I transitioned from having no knowledge of team management to effectively managing an organization. Additionally, I went from being inexperienced in investing to generating profits from various investment opportunities.
Considering these experiences, there must be a reason behind such sayings.
So, the question arises: How can one make the first million? In my opinion, the formula is to surround yourself with individuals who have already achieved this milestone and learn from them. By associating with such people, you'll naturally raise your standards and adopt their behaviors, speech patterns, and mindset. Through this process, you'll likely achieve your first million soon. However, if you fail to actively raise your standards to align with those of multimillionaires, they may no longer associate with you.
In conclusion, it's essential to surround yourself with people who add value to your life and strive to be of value to others as well. This is the lesson I've learned from interacting with wealthy individuals.
And I wish everyone here make your first Million and Billion soon!
Absolutely, when we combine hard work, intelligence, and agility with the right team, environment, and timing, success becomes inevitable. This represents an incredibly promising platform for our endeavors. Let's stay focused and proactive in turning visions into reality. With determination, anything is achievable. Thank you Mr. Ernie for the wise words.

Yes. Mr. Ernie. Reaching that first million can present significant challenges as we take an unfamiliar path. Once completed, however, our focus shifted to replicating and streamlining our success. While individual progress may be rapid, collective efforts can lead to lasting success. Associating with the right people in the right environment can add tremendous value, resulting in unlimited rewards. Thank you for sharing your insights!
First step is always hard and requires strong mind to face the challenges that will come along the way. Being focused in what we do produces the results we aim for is key for the first step. Thank you Mr Ernie, for being an inspiration for us and guiding us to be successful entrepreneurs.

Agreed, sir! To succeed in life, we need to work hard, seize opportunities, surround ourselves with good teamwork, and always keep growing. Trust yourself and never give up.

Work hard, smart, fast, building the right connection at the right place and time will definitely helps you to get a bigger piece of cake in life - got it! Not just a piece of cake, but if you play your cards right, might get the whole cake with a flavour of your choice. Once again, you words inspire me and I now know that everything will come easy for you if you’re willing to fight for it.
Good insights sir. Really inspiring and keep motivating us to reach our goals.
Good insights sir. Really inspiring and keep motivating us to reach our goals. Absolutely! πͺ Keep fostering that incredible spirit of hard work and teamwork. Together, there's no limit to what we can achieve
Very true! π
Be open-minded and creative when facing challenges; success can come in many different ways, just like a cake can have many layers and flavors
Mr. Ernie, you are obsolutely right; we should be willing to work hard, smart and fast. And learning to let go is equally important, especially learning to let go anything that prevents one from moving forward positively
I've come across many people saying that this is not possible, that impossible. But I seldom hear people say HOW to make it POSSIBLE.
You see, the world is a fair place whether you like it anot. Just like the statement you made - Making multi millions after the 1st million is easy but many don’t even believe they CAN without thinking that’s actually possible. And the MAIN reason why people are like that because they are around with lots of negativity. I am glad that I’m always around the positive environment and positive individuals. This is what made me who I am today. Nothing comes easy but everything is possible.

Absolutely, having a clear vision, the right mindset and surrounding yourself with talented individuals can certainly pave the way for success. With determination and hard work, we can navigate that path towards our goals. It's about taking ownership of our choices and being proactive in creating the future we desire.
For some people, make money is easy but to use the money at the right place is tough… that’s why forever will not be able to make the first millions.
If you want to be a millionaire then deal with the millions of problems. If you want to be a billionaire then be ready to deal with billions of problems. At the end, don’t hide away from the problems.
