I have been able to 10X the growth of my business every year for the past 22 years being an entrepreneur. Suffered badly during the pandemic with lots of challenges in both business and personal. I survived. I decided that I was not going to go through the whole process again to rebuild. This time around I was not going to grow my business anymore with just 10X. I was going to scale it 1000X. No matter what challenges came our way — big or small — Mr. Ernie always managed to lead and take the company to the next level. Even during the Covid pandemic, when everything was so difficult, he still led us strongly with a powerful and inspiring Strategic Direction Meeting.
After attending 9 years of Strategic Direction Meetings at PORTMAN Education Group, I’ve witnessed how every year, our goals and plans have become bigger and bolder. We’ve grown steadily — first bit by bit, then 10X by 10X. At one point, we were even aiming for IPO and a 100X growth plan!
Now, we’ve entered an entirely different chapter — we’re talking about 1,000X scaling!
It sounds crazy, and yet… it feels so believable. When we look at what we’re doing, what we have, and where we’re heading — 1,000X isn’t just possible, it’s achievable. Or maybe even more!
But here’s the real question:

Are we truly the right fit for this journey?
This is the question we must constantly ask ourselves. We need to keep checking in, and keep our standards aligned with the pace of this fast-scaling organization.
