There is this huge debate among the Politicians with regards to us being called 1Malaysia to unite us to be known as proud 1Malaysia. There is the other school of thought that says that we do not need such slogans that is just making things more confusing. So who is right here? At our recent ATCEN Merdeka BBQ family day celebrations, all we know was that we were ATCENians that are Malaysians with a multiracial workforce accepting each other’s difference coming together under 1 team to eat, play & work together as 1 family. So what do I think? Just as long as we are taking practical actions to help us improve our relations and equality as Malaysians in our country – We will become better Malaysians for a better Malaysia.

In my humble opinion, that picture shows what the government wants to achieve with the nation. That is, truly 1 Malaysia.
the slogan without the right/ necessary actions lead us to no where.
Really need to understand that we need each other in order to achieve something great.

1 Malaysia is truly a fine example of unique unity in diversity with its multiethnic community, languages and celebrations. Just like ATCENIANS working together as 1 Big Family.
When Atcenians get together Atcenians will be 1 family when Malaysian get together Malaysian will be 1 family, 1 Malaysia is a family of difference races and religions that live in harmony and unity that comes to PEACEFUL living conditions. All for 1 and 1 for all.

everybody and anybody can say whatever they want to say. the differentiation between reality and just merely an idea is, the action and implementation of the idea to turn it into reality.
This is the first time seeing a company with different race working under one roof as 1 family. I'm proud to be apart of it. Thank you ATCEN for giving this opportunity! :D

What the government wants/try/tried/still trying to achieve has show us that no matter how slow progress is, we should stick together as one, as a family, and most importantly work as one.
Ideology vs Discourse. Everybody has something to prove or argue on 1Malaysia. You can look at one thing in many ways because each interprets differently even if we see the same thing.
Again, we know what is 1Malaysia in the back of our mind - just that are we living up to it?
The fields are plenty but farmers are few. We can perform the ATCEN way; we can live the Malaysian way too. Play your role, be responsible.
We should be proud of ourselve because we are the only country that contains more than 1 race and living together harmony for the past 52 years. Appreciate others kinds existance and respect the culture that brought us up. Together let's work out for our country 'Malaysia'.

From the way i see it, the spirit of 1 Malaysia is there in the pic and most importantly in all ATCENians...pity my face isn't in there...huhu....GO ATCEN!!
ATCEN is the good example of 1Malaysia.. we may make fun about each other races but deep inside we know that we respect the person not because of race, but because of attitude
My point of view what we can gain from here are values and respects the ethnic identities of each community in Malaysia, and proudly regards as an asset or advantage. The value "Acceptance" amongst its multi-racial people, where one race embraces the uniqueness of other races so that we may live with mutual respect for each other as a nation. It is a distinct
step above that of mere tolerance. WE CAN SEE THIS VALUE IN ATCEN which's we are in 1 family.
doesn't matter what races work together. Important is Get things Done with no finger pointing with INTEGRITY. That's 1malaysia to me.

Agreed with Sue, Action speaks louder than words. For me, 1Malaysia is not just about different races coming together for open house or "yam cha" together. It should be a group of high competence individuals from different races working together to achieve the results and creating the magic for Malaysia.
1 Malaysia doesn't mean that different race sit together and chit chat only. We need to work out together and make Malaysia more successful.

ATCEN been breathing the spirit of Malaysian, not only 1Malaysia but being Malaysian - Assisting local enterprise grow through people development, entertainment and branding, nurture the young to become part of workforce and most importantly helping stimulating the economy. So, if we are keep talking, advertise and 'support' 1Malaysia - are we doing enough to care about the country? Patriotism does not exist only during the Month of Aug yearly, however as long as we holding MyKad, it is our duty to serve the country to ensure the stability and growth of hers...
However, Unity without Respect & Integrity is Zero-ity! period! stop beating each other, bashing and pointing fingers - Malaysia would be a better & prosper place

ATCENians is really representing 1Malaysia where spirit of teamwork, peace and harmony is remained. It reminded me of my childhood sweet memories in an SK school where unity and harmony is achieved! I am PROUD to be Malaysian just like I am proud to be ATCENian!
1Malaysia is the biggest "bullshit" I ever heard. Why not Najib come out and say what..does 1malaysia really means.
So why is there separation of races in Malaysia..? in schools, govt and every sphere of social life. We are still living in Malaysia, where some people are known as Bumiputra - 1st class malaysians, and then the nons - as 2nd class Malaysians.

I can't believe you posted such a stupid comment, Malaysia is not the only multiracial country in the world. Go to Russia, where there is more than 50 ethnic groups, USA, Canada, UK, NZ, Indonesia and even South Africa is very multiracial. But all these great countries dont have stupid racist policies like Malaysia Boleh. Everything also boleh, even the space rocket pinjam from Russia and spend millions of govt money to send a preety boy into outerspace.
