Life Challenges & The Support System!

I have had many life changing moments in my life and this past week has been another life changing moment for me. I was a dengue patient. I am feeling weak and tired even as I write this and never thought it could happen to me. But reality was that it did and I was a casualty in the process of having to deal with it. The whole incident reminder me of a very big lesson in life. Its not about how big the challenge will be there to make your life difficult and miserable. But how you surround yourself with the right support system. I honestly dare say that if I did not have a loving and caring wife, good friends and family members with their continuous support this past week would have been almost impossible. So do remember that its more important to have the right support system in place so that you can overcome any life challenges no matter how big it can be. I am blessed and you will be too, if you work hard to develop that support system. We all need one.

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”

Yes totally agree on this.

People don't always needs advice. Sometimes all they need is a hand to hold, an ear to listen and a heart to understand them.

Everyone needs a support system..
They tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.. through good and bad times.. stands by you in every step that you make.. with unconditional love without expecting anything in return.. and most importantly they are there because they want to not because they have to..

Very true! Without the right support system whether personal related or work related, one will find it tough to overcome hurdles. Some circumstances, w/o a good support system people or projects will fail.

What is a man without the support he received from the moment he was born to the moment he dies. You are ultimately alone in your journey of Life, yet one with others in an experience called Life.
