Get Out And Stay Out!

I have been thinking about this lately – more so than before; do I demand too much from the people around me? Some understand me very well, while there are others that just don’t get it and will never get it even if it fell on their heads like ton of bricks.

I mean – I pay good salaries, I provide exceptional training for free when I get minimum RM30, 000 per day for my training outside, there are movie nights, BBQ nights, company trips and so much more and what I asked for in return is that I’m given what’s expected of them – and I’m very clear about this.

Just for your info, the last time I checked I was still running a business not a social service or welfare organization. Do you think I’m going to keep you around if you continue to take me and my company for granted? Hell no! I have more valuable people in my team to train and take care of – people who really want to do exceptionally well.

Those who know me know this, that as long as you are under my roof, I will take care of you extremely well. But once you leave, I will cease to care for you the way I used to – it’s nothing personal – I have a team to think of and I have to put them first. So if you don’t want this and if you don’t care, get out. This is NOT the place for you. And if you are going through the same for your own organization, get out of it as well.

If the place can make us uncomfortable most of the time. That is the good place for us to learn and growth. At the same time, we need to figure out why others can fit well but not me? If we want to be successful in life and our career. We should always follow to the success person. For example, if you wish to get A in your study, will you get the advice from the person who get A always or the person who failed most of the time? The choice is yours...

Thank you Ernie for your words of wisdom. You are so right in saying this. I just cannot understand some individuals that just do not get it. They are trule idiots.

Well said Ernie. If I am a business owner, I don't mind paying good money for a staff. However, I will expect equality good, quality work from him/her also.

People are narrow minded nowadays. Try to hop around and find good remunerating, but easy job. No way man!

Our society and working environment are getting more and more competitive each day. Do not price yourself too high.

Thank you Ernie for changing my life. The wisdom, confidence and heart you have shown while leading the AIG team has been an inspiration to me, on and off work. Your influence on my life is immeasurable. The depth of the skills and lessons you have taught will be amplified over my lifetime.

Getting a job opportunity at ATCEN is the best thing to have happened to me. My gratitude to you,Carol and the ATCEN family is endless.

I think joining ATCEN is the wisest decision I have made. Not just because you are my boss, but because personally, I do not think any other company would help me develop myself and my career, because most companies only care about what you bring to them. In here, it is entirely different. Employees are treated well and appreciated, and are given lots of opportunities to grow.

A place you can call home..
Thats what I can say when we talk about ATCEN. Those who don't appreciate being here and who think that you are doing the company a favour by working here; you should seriously take a walk out there and see what the outside world can offer you!! and for those who think this is a stepping stone for you to get somewhere else.. You better think again!!

HY,

Thank you for your comment! It is good to price yourself high if you can deliver the results. The problem is with individuals that price themselves high and not being able to deliver.
