THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. REALLY?

The grass always seem a lot greener on the other side until you get there and realise that its the same old shit!

I prefer to just make my grass greener where ever I am. I decide on how green I want the grass to be, how long or short, how much or little. In fact, everything is decided by MY OWN EFFORT.

So the next time when you think that the grass is always greener on the other side, start thinking on how you can make the choice for the chance of change to happen.

Blaming others, complaining & giving excuses are just not going to cut it. It always starts with I, Me & Myself. Nothing changes until I change to be a better version of myself.

Thanks for sharing Mr. Ernie. I do agree with what you have said.
Life is only once, we are only the one who decided the life quality. When you change your thinking of your mind, you change your quality of your life.

Thanks Mr. Ernie for the sharing.

Indeed. Most of the time, the grass is always look green but within that groups of green, there are some old grass brown in color. Thus, that tiny fault that we need to work at to be better among the better. Work as much as we can accordingly to be always green. Up to the people to accept or not.

Mr. Ernie,

Terima kasih kerana berkongsi motivasi seperti itu. Kita yang memilih corak kehidupan kita sendiri. Warna apa jua, kita yang memilih. Tetapi, jika silap warnanya, maka silapla percaturannya.

It’s a journey of twists and turns, peaks and valleys, mountains to climb and oceans to explore. Good times and bad times. Happy times and sad times. But always, life is a movement forward. And no matter where you are on the journey, in some way, you are continuing on — and that’s what makes it so magnificent.
What nobody ever tells you, though, when you are a wide-eyed child, are all the little things that come along with “growing up.” The things pull you down from your dreaming cloud and force you to plant your feet on the ground.
Thank you.

Thanks Mr. Ernie, lesson learnt.

Only I, me and myself can decide what is the life that I want. Grass on the other side always greener until I decide this is the type of green and the type of length of grass that I want.

Indeed sir, this statement "In fact, everything is decided by MY OWN EFFORT" was damn true because everything happen in this world is our choice. Up to us to decide whether to have great life by surrounding with lovely people or live suffer by surrounding with fake persons. Same with other choice that we make on our daily life.

God has created us fairly. Some people might be good in some conditions, but not in other aspects of life. In the end of the day, nobody is perfect. So, stop comparing our life with others and begin to be grateful with even the smallest things that are happening in our life.

i agree with you sir. life is some days a bed of thorns, a puddle of mud, a pothole on a highway and it might deny you happiness but life is going to respond to your attitude and happiness is always a choice.

I totally agree on the statement sir as life is not about complaining or giving excuses . Whats matter more is the effort that brings us towards success. Just being yourself to conquer the world is the best thing ever.

True indeed. We are the only person that can make things change for ourself depends on our efforts. Our life changes the moment we make a new, courageous, and committed decision and action.

Thanks for this post Mr Ernie. Actually we dont have the power to grow the grass, only God is capable to do that, our job is only to take care of the grass, if God not willing it to grow, it wont grow, same as life, we need to take care and spread love within our circle as we taking care the grass, only that way the grass will grow beautifully.

Thank you Mr.Ernie for the sharing. I totally agree with you. We decide our own future not anyone. Giving excuses will only lead us to failure. Stop doubting ourselves and trust the process.

P/S: The grass is not greener on the side maybe because they lack of chlorophyll.

Good day, Well said Mr. Ernie.

Wherever you are in life with whatever you're doing - you're going to be

ahead of some and behind others. That's okay. Own where you are. Take

time to embrace and celebrate that. Continue moving forward.

And Never compare your beginning to someone else's middle. A flower

does not think of competing to the flower next to it. IT JUST BLOOMS.

It's matter of perspective and mindset.
You can think it from a different angle, look at the positive side then the outcome will be very different.

Also... the passed few weeks I really saw a lot of things is happening. We are just one day away! 3 months can change a lot things, it is about how you want to play the game and how you turn around the thing from bad to good.

Looking forward to it!

We have to keep tracking ourselves, where we standing at, how we can improve, what to do next. Build on our own feet, fundamentals is KING.

We, are the biggest enemy of ourselves. Thank you for the sharing and lessons over the months!

Yes, we should be the one to decide who we want to be, how is our life going to be.

Don't envy others, do our part to make it as beauty as they are and even greater then they are.

Thank you for the words Mr. Ernie.

Each person has the right to make decisions and have choices about how they live their life. Plus, each person has different ideas about what is important and what makes them feel best. I believe by making our own choices about the things we do is very important because it gives our life meaning.

Thank you Mr. Ernie for the message.
Instead of admiring the other's grass, why not create your own park.

I used to be the world is so big to me and my eye is so small for me to see what I have.
Always checking out other's life is better, but not checking out those who don't even have a shelf for living.

Mr. Ernie always reminds & wake us up, to open our sight view bigger & further.
Your message meant a lot to many, myself included.

But something I need to admit, I have a most awesome fertilizer on my farm to make my grass grow up faster & greener. It's the "Ernie Chen Fertilizer"

Thank you for the selfless fertilizer to so many of us.
We will hold tight to the soil and make sure our tree grow higher & sustainable.

This is so true.

Instead of sitting on the ground and admire other people's grasses, we should work on ourselves and decide how the grass going to be.

Who said the grass need to be green colour, it can be blue, pink or even red grasses. The question is what effect you willing to take and make it happen. Let's do more, work fast and live better!!!

It is all about "PERSPECTIVE".

Indeed. Many people said they don't have a CHOICE, this is how my life SUPPOSED to be. With that said, they did not realize that they have already made a CHOICE.

Our future is in our own hands. Successful or not, you decide. What & How you decide to see things and do things will change your future.
